Chocolate cups in the style of 'cupcake cases' for ice cream. Fill them with your favourite dairy-free ice cream, soft fruit, custard, or whatever takes your fancy. These dessert cups are made purely from dark Belgian chocolate with a cocoa content of 49%. We dug out the ice cream for a special mid-week dessert:
You get 8 cups in a pack and they are well packaged - each was immaculate and glossy. This chocolate looks darker than 49%...and it's very difficult to photograph!
The chocolate is bittersweet, and might be too dark for milk chocolate lovers, but it makes for a very grown up dessert when filled with vanilla ice cream, candied peel and fresh mint leaves. This is a good combination - try it yourself.
We're really impressed by these chocolate cups - they will keep well in the cupboard, and allow you to make a stunning dessert in next to no time.
Update: We bought ours from Sainsburys.
Verdict: Cups of cocoa all round
